We're an event furniture hire company based in Harlow, Essex, less than an hour from central London. We hold over 7,000 pieces of design-led furniture across 30,000 sq ft of warehousing, and we deliver, position and collect every one of them ourselves.
Founded in 2023, we now furnish exhibition stands, conferences, brand activations, film shoots and creative workspaces for some of the best-known names in the world — from OpenAI at Cannes Lions to Lamborghini at Goodwood.
NYED started in 2023 with 4,500 sq ft in Harlow and a simple frustration: event furniture hire had settled for the same handful of pieces, bought in bulk, turning up on every stand in the hall.
We thought the industry deserved better, so we built a collection around design rather than availability. We then built the operation to match it. Three years on we hold over 7,000 pieces across 30,000 sq ft, split between our Harlow headquarters and The Grain Store, a second facility ten minutes north that opened in late 2025.
The ambition hasn't changed. We still only buy pieces we'd want in our own spaces, and we still answer the phone ourselves.
We hire soft seating, armchairs, sofas, dining and side chairs, stools, poseur and coffee tables, reception desks and statement pieces. Everything you need to furnish an exhibition stand, a lounge, a green room or a product launch.
Design-led by default. The collection leans into Scandinavian: clean lines, warm materials. Ninety-seven per cent of it is sourced from European designers and manufacturers and everything is owned, not sub-hired, and maintained in-house between bookings.
Every hire includes delivery, positioning and collection as standard, taking great care to ensure every piece is placed where you intended it to.
We run our own vehicles and our own crew, which is why we can commit to access windows rather than hope for them. We install during build-up, including overnight and early mornings, and de-rig to the venue's breakdown schedule.
There's no minimum hire period. Single-day bookings are a routine part of our week, and where a venue gives you a tight get-in and get-out we can install and de-rig the same day.
