The Ocean OC2 Carlsberg Chair is a part of the Ocean Collection, a reimagined outdoor series, originally designed in 1955 by Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel.
Working in partnership with Carlsberg, the manufacturer uses recycled Draughtmaster Carlsberg kegs as the raw material to make the chair slats from, which give them their unique green colour, and sturdy weatherproof structure.
A unique piece, with a great back story. Crafted with comfort and sustainability at the front of mind in equal measures.

Nanna & Jørgen Ditzel were a Danish designer couple whose most famous design is the Hanging Egg chair from 1959. Their experimental approach to materials resulted in multiple innovative furniture designs, bringing the use of rattan in furniture making to the forefront at the time.
